Avalon silver and gold chain maille earrings
Chain maille is an ancient art form, best known for its use in medieval armor. While it still has practical uses, it’s now popular for jewelry. Weaves can be simple or complex, traditional or modern. European 4-in-1 may be the most recognizable chain maille weave, used for statement pieces and full garments. With micro scale rings, it makes smaller jewelry with a lighter weight, a nice drape, and lots of sparkle.
These chain maille earrings are sterling silver with a touch of gold: a border of gold-filled rings on one side of the chain maille, and gold-filled beads attached to the earwires. They’re made in a classic leaf shape, wider at the top and graduating down to a single ring at the bottom.
